Our new Evidence Informed Intervention (E2i) program staff have hosted monitors from AIDS United and Fenway Institute for the past two days. The time was spent looking at agency systems, intervention protocols and implementation experiences of our staff while they implement Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral and Treatment services for people with substance abuse and mental health problems who are program participants at our Eat Well Center.

They looked at strengths and made recommendations for improvement. Strengths included statements like “work collaboratively” “emotional support for one another that you sometimes need” “dedicated staff” “Lots of energy put into volunteers making the transition into paid part of agency staff.” “Face to face partnerships with referrals sources.”

We’re so grateful for Linda, Joseph and Alicia’s input toward making our implementation even better. Thank You!
