Alecia Tramel-McIntyre is a dynamic and inspiring leader who has dedicated her life to uplifting marginalized communities, advocating for health equity, and fostering meaningful change. As the founder of Positive People Network Inc., Alecia has become a driving force in empowering individuals living with HIV/AIDS and creating inclusive spaces for dialogue, support, and education.
With over 2 decades of advocacy experience, Alecia has developed innovative programs that address the intersectionality of health, social justice, and economic empowerment. Her groundbreaking initiatives, including TransSis, Stop The Silence Ambassadors Speakers Bureau, Stigma Free Miami, Language Matters, PPN TransParent and Positive EyE’s, are reshaping how communities approach stigma, leadership, and support systems. Her unwavering commitment to reproductive health justice, HIV/AIDS awareness, and community empowerment has earned her recognition as a trailblazer in her field.
Alecia’s leadership extends beyond her organization. She serves as Chair of THE Miami Dade HIV and AIDS Partnership,The Co-Chair of HOPE out of California. Additionally, Alecia has spearheaded international initiatives such as Connections Across Continents, bridging support networks between women in the U.S. and Africa (PPN International SWAT).
In addition to her advocacy work, Alecia is a successful entrepreneur, owning Dazzle By Alecia Boutique, a business that supports HIV/AIDS awareness through its charitable contributions. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to mentorship continue to inspire the next generation of advocates and leaders.
