The COVID-19 Pandemic helped us make lasting improvements in how we get food to you. This means we put our online ordering system and our Lots of Love, No Touch Delivery to work for our clients who would otherwise take hours on public transit to get to our location.

How it works:

Order your food through the above orange “Order Food” button on the front page of our website, www.poverello.org

We phone you with the phone number you have on file with us with a coordinated delivery time.

Our volunteer delivery drivers will call you when they’re close, but they will only deliver to your doorstep, so you must be home.

We also coordinate with those providers who want us to deliver from their offices with DoorDash. The Dashers meet at your doctors office and you can either pick up from there, or have your selection of groceries delivered to your home!
