“We are thrilled to introduce this new supportive service, which represents a significant tool for those who wish to make changes in this new year toward improving health through participation in a diabetes prevention group, a cancer support group, or those who simply need healthy foods to take along with their medications. It is our mission to serve individuals in need, focusing on those living with HIV or other chronic illnesses in South Florida, through a holistic and compassionate approach that includes prevention, nutritious food, essential health services, and basic living necessities,” said Tom Pietrogallo, CEO of The Poverello Center, Inc. “These collaborations are rocket fuel for the kinds of changes to health a new year can bring.”
