🎁 A Holiday Hug That Warms the Heart 💝
This holiday season and for the past nearly 30, we at The Poverello Center, Inc. are deeply grateful to The Campbell Foundation for their continued generosity and unwavering commitment to the HIV/AIDS community. Their annual Holiday Hug grants—this year totaling $42,000 to 14 Florida-based organizations—are more than just financial gifts. They are a testament to the compassion and support that strengthen our shared mission of serving those living with HIV/AIDS.
The Campbell Foundation’s contributions go far beyond the holiday season. For nearly three decades, they have been a beacon of hope, funding groundbreaking laboratory-based research that seeks to uncover better treatments and, one day, a cure for HIV. From providing emergency relief grants to communities impacted by hurricanes to supporting innovative research like Dr. Fatah Kashanchi’s work on identifying HIV reservoir cells, their impact is transformative.
Closer to home, the Foundation has empowered researchers at institutions like UM, FIU, and FAU with grants to advance HIV testing, treatment, and prevention. Their work not only addresses today’s challenges but also lays the groundwork for a healthier future for everyone affected by HIV.
To The Campbell Foundation, thank you for your enduring support, your faith in our work, and your commitment to making HIV/AIDS history. Your holiday hug lifts spirits and reminds us that we are not alone in this fight.
With gratitude,
The Poverello Center, Inc
