THE WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE THAT WE FEEL!!!! What better way to close the Volunteers Month than with this excellent group of “Wells Fargo”, thank you for the love, joy and passion that have put to everything did today.

Thanks to Eva for the excellent food she prepared for us, our staff who were here: Nioka, Roy, Shanel, Luis, Mario, Angela, José and everyone else, our regular volunteers who are always ready to collaborate and give the best for our customers and the community.

YOU MAKE IT POSSIBLE: “To provide nutritious food, services and basic living essentials with the highest degree of understanding, respect and love”

What a whirlwind TIME! From start to today you have been an incredible volunteer, then a better hunger-fighter and because of your dedication and hard work, our job has been a great success.

Thank you so much for your commitment of time and energy to our community.

I’ve been a long term client of Poverello. When I first became a client, I didn’t realize that one day I would have the pleasure of finding out how rewarding it is to give back what was so graciously given to me. I think that the employees and the volunteers are all very special people doing a service that I consider nothing less than God’s work. People helping people in a loving and caring way. It gives me great pleasure to say thank you and God bless to the staff and volunteers at Poverello. There is much work to be done and they are accountable and ready to meet the challenge.

From my heart,

Thank you All!

Satisfied Client

For been with us today, every time we have you with us is a pleasant experience for our clients, volunteers and staff.

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” ― Barack Obama

What you did today was AMAZING!!!!! “Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” –Andrew Carnegie

We want to congratulate the drivers team: Lee, Cori, Michael, Nelson, Bobby and their supervisor: Mario Rosario, for the excellent work done in favor of our community. Well-deserved recognition as August / 2018 Hunger-Fighters.

Over the summer break we had the  S.T.E.P Program’ youths volunteering in our facility. It was amazing the enthusiasm, commitment and dedication with which these young people have come for 7 weeks day after day to do a better and better job. Thanks also to Yolanda, Liat, Casandra and all the staff of STEP for their careful dedication so that these young people live their first work experience.

With feelings of tenderness, joy and great satisfaction; yesterday, all our volunteers and staff  get together to say “good bye” to the program … until next year.
